In Thailand, excessive body weight, an individual clinical condition, is under great concems. Being overweight has been shown to predispose to various problems and poor mental health. To prevent these problems, people need to start with facing the reality of their health, mind, and belief. The"I Feel So Good Club" had been set up by recruiting personnel with BMI (Body Mass Index) over 25. The reality therapy group, had been administered to 12 volunteers from the club for 3 months. The reality therapy group addressed 3 themes: 1) focusing on the present and avoid discussing the past.2) encouraging people to judge their actions by "Is what I am doing getting me closer to what I need?" 3) Helping people create, specific, workable plans to succeed in fulfilling their needs, and then follow through by helping themevaluate their progress (William Glasser Institute, 2004 ). Then, the "I Feel So Good Program" was produced by integrating lesson learned from the "I Feel So Good Club" and the reality therapy group. After editing details by 5 experts, the programwas tried out by the members of the club for 3 months. Personnel attending the program reported that they felt very pleased to loose 4 to 12 kgs. Of their body weight within 3 months. The results also reported, via focus group and interviewing, that overweight personel experienced of happiness and were able to control their body weight within 3 months. The program reported an effectiveness of applying reality therapy to weight watch program. Thus, facing the reality of their health, mind, and belief can help overweight personnel enhance their mental health and move away from being overweight.
