Objective : This research involved on exploration of perception, judgments and perspective of thinking of the community towards causes and symptoms of a psychiatric patient. And within a circumstance of powerless- what patterns of resistance did the patient employ?, and how did she employ them?. Methods : In deep interviews. The patient, her orriginal family members and her family members, also conducted during daily routine life off the patient and when she interacted with others. Afterward lead the data to analyze for accessory's opinion and compare among community context and the local cultural beliefs and rite of ethic group in Bangphae District. The raw data were indicated to informant kept a secret. And Researchers team be permitted data. The names be apparent were suppose. Result : This study showed that, the local people perceived psychiatric illness in terms of cultural and local believes. A combination of traditional folk song medicine and the modern medicine were the treatment of choice. Psychiatric patient came back the hospital. In addition, stigma and blaming of the patient still continued even though after she returned home from hospital, the patient received a stressful situation. The distress of being blamed and a lack of power to negotiate caused the patient reacted to the other in different idioms of distress ; for example, passive resistance and faking the physicalailments in order to escape from the pressures that confronted her. The result of this research, the researchers team study was the community psychiatric treatment where patients were seat to stay in hospital, when returned home with following medication intake would not work well for the patients. Unless the unequal community structure that enacted upon the patients was not changed properly.
