This study is aimed for the self-esteem development by using Yonisomanasikarn training program for the youth in Juvenile Delinquents in Children and youth center Area 4, KhonKaen Province. The exampling froup is a male group, age ranging between 14-17 years old who lived in the youth in Juvenile Delinquents in Children and youth center Area 4‹ KhonKaen Province since January 2008 to April 2008. By the randomizing in 24 youths whom had low self-esteem scores. They were separated into "controlled group" and "experimental group". In the "experimental group", they were trained by Yonisomansikarn thinking strategies for self-esteemed development, and in the "controlled group", they were trained in normal calss-roomed strategies. We followed 3 stages of experiments, called, pre-experimental stage, experimental stage and post-experimental stage using Yonisomanasikarn training program and the self-esteem scale test as tools. We analyzed the differentiation of the self-esteem scores among 3 stages in each group both in between same group and different group. By the Wilcoxon Matched-Paris Signed-Ranks Test and MannWhitney U-test. Analysis we found that the group of male whom joined Yonisomanasikarn thinking strategies program for self-esteem development had higher score of self-esteem in post-experimental stage than pre-experimental stage and also higher than the Controlled group, significantly. So we come to gain self-esteemed development for the youths in this center.
