This study evaluated the outcomes of using the suicideprecaution to prevent suicidal attempted pattients who were admitted to Chiangkham hospital and the opinion about process of using the protocol. The sample was 63 files of suicida; attemptedpatients and 50 nurses care for suicidal patients. The study,instruments based on CIPP model comprising survey form of using the suicidal precaution forsuicidal attempted patients and opinions survey form about process of using theprotocol. Datas were analyzen using descripitive statistics.Findings were as follows;outcomes of implementing suicide precaution for sucidal attempted patients protocol showed that 74.7% of suicidal ideas during admission in the hospital 100 % of subjects did not attempted suicide during admission in the hospital. One hundred percent of subjects did not re-admitted with attempted suicide within 1 month after discharge. The average duration that they stayed at the hospital was 3.20days.Forty one percent of subjects did not follow-up at the psychiatric clinic 3 months after discharge. The opinions of the patients care team to using the suicide precaution forsuicidal attempted patients protocol in Chiangkham hospital. Phayao province about use of the protocol process found that; seventy percent of nuses agreed that the protocol was easy to use. Sixty two percent of nuses agreed that the protocol was practical.Sixty six percent of nurses agreed that the protocol was conveniently implemented. Fifty four percent of nurses agreed that the protocol was extensively applicable to patient care. Sixty four percent of nurses were satisfied with using the protocol.
