The data revealed patient experiences after managing negative social perception consisted of three themes: 1) accepting existing negative social perception in party by letting it go and seeking a peaceful mind, 2) seeking a strengthened mind through guidelines to control undesirable emotion, exercising will-power, being self-confident, and living communally with others 3) being happy with their lives as lay persons, which included enjoying working with others, being satisfied with social activities, and having regular communication with other people.
