The purposes of this survey research were to study the relationships between psychosocial factors and child care behaviors in autistic children's mothers and predicting autistic child care behaviors by psychosocial factors. One questionnaire and five measuring scales, 1) demographic questionnaire, 2) child care behaviors scale, 3) attitude of child care scale, 4) religious characteristics scale, 5) social support from primary group and professional care worker scale and 6) stress scale, were used in this study. The questionnaire and scales were randomly given to 150 mothers of autistic children. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's product-moment correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regressions.‹br> The results were as follows : 1. Four factors, attitude of child care, religious characteristics, social support from primary group and professional care worker were positive correlate to child care behaviors in autistic children's mothers (p < .01, r = .613, .400, .389, .260 and .244 respectively) while stress was uncorrelated to child care behaviors in autistic children's mothers. 2. Attitude of child care and religious characteristics were copredictors of child care behaviors in autistic children's mothers. (p < .01, R2 = 40.80).
