Objective To study the unit cost of services. Results The study results revealed that Srithanya Hospital had the actual number of 1,303 beds (2,280 bed-setting) and 1,228 staff members,providing services to 139,239 out-patienents and 8,252 in-patients totaling 674,271 hospital days.The average lemgth of stay was 54 days.In addittion, there were 17 unitof non-revenue producing cost centre (NRPCC) such as general administration, registrar etc; four revenue-producing cost centre (RPCC) such as pharmacy,medical technology,etc;and 41 patient services(PS) such as out-patient service,dentistry,etc. As for the 2000 fiscal year, Srithanya Hospital recived a funding of 319,276,128.83baht which was then allocated as follows: 137,795,349.85baht(43.16%) for NRPCC 58,967,648.92baht (18.47%) for RPCC, and 122,513,130.06baht (38.37%) for PS.The ratio of labar cost:material cost:capital cost was 50:43:7 When indirectly allocating the budget for services,the out-patient services, the full (FC) of the services offered were as follows: 911-81 baht per case for out-patient services,์ 233.14 baht for medical mail order 1,446.01baht for dental services, 124.87baht for social welfare 617 for psychology,599.40 for psychiatric community services, 213.65baht for stress reduction clinic and 68.74baht for recreational therapy.The average of the full cost of in-patients was 18,856.19baht per case and 347.79baht per day.The net revenue collected from service users was 92,243.832.99baht (57.88% of the accrual income). The accrual revenue and the net revence recovery of the FC of the out-patient unit were 78.10% and 57.24%, repectively.
