This research was aimed to study mental status of factorial employee in Nonthaburi province And to test wheather mental status accident in workplace and absence had any correlation. The population employee in 3 factories located in Nonthaburiwas 444. General Health Questionaire-12 (GHQ-12) Thai version was used to be a mental status screening test the resulte were as below ; 1. Fifty-eight point eight percent of employee had normal mental status the other proned to develop mental disorders. 2. Mental status had statistical significantly negative correlation to accident in workplaceand absence.
