The purposes of this study was to survey the problems of telephone counseling services from 295 counsellors and 952 record of telephone counsellees during Oct.15-Nov.30,1998. Using Rusult: The major problems are counsellors (59.8%) lack of training in telephone counseling technique; no supervision system (74%) inap-propriate clinical services 33.3% lack of direct telephones number 29% lack room and facilitation for services 30% The counsellees 70% were female age between 20-30 years and mostly are labourers 31.9% were mental health problems 20.9% were psychiatric problems average time spent per case was 10 minutes.
