The situation in the remedy of psychiatric patients families is the research of how families learn the remedy of their patients. The objectives of this study are 1.) To study of the seeking behaviors for remedy conducted by psychiatric patients families 2.) To study of the qulity of services received by families and 3.) To study of the impact on caare of such patients families. The subject of this study were divided into 4 groups : 1) 252 relatives of first attended patients 2) 230 relatives of patients at In Patient Department 3) 384 relatives of first attended at Out Patient Department and 4) 384 relatives of second attended patients at Out Patient Department. They were asked to answer the questionnaire by interviewer. The data statistics analysis are percentile, chi-square,t-test,and differential of mean scores. The result of research shows that: 1. Seeking behaviors for remedy 40.48% of relatives patients have one step directly remedy at Srithanya Hospital 2. The quality of services perceived by families at Out Patient Department and In Patient Department are unsatisfactory level. 3. The impact on care of families Economic 19.01% of families had debts. Socially 10.06% of families exhibit worsened relationship 41.67% the private life/works is worsened and 40.11% mark that the capability to work is lessened. Mentally 66.67% of relatives are in risk for mental illness. The trend of care taking also pictures that 88.02% is still able to continually take care of patients at home. In addition 85.42% of futher services is expected to conitinue at Srithanya Hospital.
