The objective of this study was to survey the understanding about adolescent suicide of 56 radio broadcasters who attended the seminar on adolescent suicide prevention program at Mental Health Department on March 21st, 20000. Statistics used in analysing the data was frequency and percentage. Most of the nroadcasters understood correctly that adolescents who talked anout suicide could actually do so, adolescents who suicide had expressed their distress and self-harm behaviors prior to their suicide acts, those who had suicidal experiences would have higher success rate of committed suicide in next action, adjustment problem was a leading cause of suicide among adolesscents, and adolescents could have serious problems enough to suicide. On the other hand, the broadcasters misunderstood that to ask about suicidal idea could suggest adolescents to do so, adolescents who suicide had strong intention to die, and all of adolescents who suicide were depressed.
