The purpose of this study was to analize the attitudes of the relatives of the patients admitted at the Nakhonratchasima Psychological Hospital, concerning treatment and nursing activities, places, and other services, in order to be used as guidelines for further bevelopment of the hospital. The study procedure sequently behan by using questionaires asking the relatives who had come to the hospital at least 2 times, and they had to have residence in the 4 province that were under responsibility of the hospital I.e. Makhonratchasima, burirum, Surin and Chaiyaphum. The data collected were then systematically and statistically analized. The research findings were as follows : the relationship between the patients and their relatives as being father of mothers and sons or daughters was 35%; aged 45 up was 42% being married was 84%; male 47%; female 53%; education backgrounds were primary level 77%; mpst pf them earned their living on farm prodeucts 49%; the average of monthly income was less than 1,000 baht 49%; 73% lived in Nakhonratchasima 14% lived in Burirum, 10% lived in Chaiyaphum and 3% lived in surin respectively. The attitudes towards the treatments and nursing activities terms of services; the advice given by nurses concerning how to get serivces from the hospital was highly accepted, (X=4.47, SD=0.75) The lowest attitudes (X=2.00, SD=1.26) was siven to that nurses had shown the sign of being prejudice against the patients. The attitudes towards treatment and nursing activities concerning the allowing the relatives to visit the patients was hightly accepted (X=4.43, SD=0.75) the lowest attitudes was in questioning of the patients had thrown away the pills while staying in the hospital (X=2.50, SD=1.55) The attitude towards the hospital and its atmosphere e.g. beautiful, nicem was told highly appropriated to thest types pf patients (X=4.35, SD=0.83) The lowest attitude was given that inside the bulding had always given unpleasant smell. (X=2.14, SD=1.39) The other types of attitudes studies were that the relatives were satisfied with when the patients were gives x-ray in analizing sickness (X=4.38, SD=0.83) The unsatisfactory feeling of the relatives was that when the hospital had run the programme for apprenticeship-like cloth wearing, straw mats wearing and other argriculture-like activities, in order to be useful for future life, to the patients.
